How to photograph your pigeon ?
No equipment needed. These five points are enough for a fine studio photo.
Posture
The pigeon standing, in profile, in the classic show stance. Not lying down, not head-on.
Ring visible
Shoot from the side where the ring shows. The ring and feet must be fully visible.
Good light
A bright spot, daylight for preference. Avoid dark rooms and direct flash.
Sharp photo
A recent smartphone is more than enough. The photo simply needs to be sharp and well defined.
Whole pigeon
Feet, tail, wings and head in frame. Avoid hands, bars and objects in front of the bird.
